Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to be fit to do BootCamp?
Not at all, we have people coming who have never done exercise and
want to change their life around, to people who are very fit. The
beauty of BootCamp is that everyone can work at their own level
without pressure, and best of all it's fun, and it's a great way
to make new friends whilst getting fit.
What do I wear?
For Personal Training wear something cool and comfortable and good
quality trainers that absorb shock. For BootCamp wear layers, and
with the British weather being unpredictable always bring a rain
coat. For Pilates wear tighter clothes as these are best to see
the contours of your body to help in your movements, no shoes required.
What do I do if I feel uncomfortable doing anything i'm asked
to do?
Just say so and you will be given an alternative, no questions asked.
What if I have a bad day or week?
We are all human, everybody has them, we just start again the next
day or week.
I get bored by my exercise routine, what if I get bored with
Personal Training?
Just read some of my testimonials, many clients have had this worry
and non have been bored with their one-on-one sessions. This is
the reason I have trained in so many methods, so I can offer variety,
so you'll never be bored and your body will keep getting better
and better.
Can I eat more now I am training?
Generally no, just because you have done a workout does not mean
you can have more to eat. I always tell my clients that I am only
with them so many hours in a week, it is up to them what they put
in their mouths. It has to be a partnership, I have to trust them
and they have to trust me.
